Welcome winter with the Eastern Shore’s Annual Ice & Oyster Fest. The event features dozens of dazzling ice sculptures, interactive games for children of all ages, carving demonstrations, an outdoor oyster bar and roast, beer and specialty drinks, fire pits, S’mores and more!
The event times are subject to change based on weather. Current schedule is:
5 - 8 pm Friday, January 16th
11 am - 7 pm Saturday, January 17th
The event is being held Downtown Cambridge and the Synthetic Ice Skating Rink is at Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Resort and Spa.
There will be a shuttle running between Downtown and the Hyatt
The Cambridge Ice & Oyster Festival is located in the heart of downtown Cambridge, Maryland running from Cannery Way to Blue Ruin. Click Here for parking map. There is a Ice Skating Rink at the Hyatt a shuttle will be running between the sites. Enter 411 Academy Street into your GPS to get to the entrance of the main parking lot Downtown. Admission to the Festival is free. S'mores and hot cholate are available at no charge while supplies last. Oysters and other food options are available for purchase. Ice skating is $15 per person.
We need about 100 volunteers to make the event run smoothly. We have jobs that range from setup to maintaining fire pits. Click Here to see the jobs and times available.
All volunteers will receive drink tickets and have access to the VIP Lounge for the duration of the event.
Well behaved dogs on a leash are welcome at the event.

Travelin' Tom's Coffee Truck and the Kona Ice Truck will also be at the festival.
